August 30 2024 - Geely's E5 has been honored with Platinum Awards at the prestigious MUSE Design Awards. These awards recognize their innovative design concepts. This marks the second time Geely has received such acclaim, following the E8's Platinum Award in March.
Beyond Boundaries: Geely's Design Innovation
Established in 2015 by the International Awards Association (IAA), the MUSE Design Award aims to elevate global creative standards and foster innovation in design. This year's theme, "Shaping Legacies," celebrates those who revitalize cultural or artistic heritage and create lasting impact.
As Geely Auto Group's Vice President and Geely Design Head, Chen Zheng, noted, 'innovation is rooted in heritage.' The Geely E5 embody this philosophy, merging Chinese culture with Geely's innovative technology. Their "Ripple Aesthetics" perfectly align with the MUSE Design Award's theme of 'inheritance and innovation.
As the newest pure electric SUV in Geely's line up, the E5's design draws inspiration from Chinese culture and prioritizes universal appeal. By merging Chinese design elements with the diverse needs of global consumers, the E5 creates a timeless aesthetic that transcends cultural boundaries and appeals to both elite and mainstream audiences. The Geely E5 will make its global debut at the Automechanika Frankfurt EVA 2024 from September 10 to 14, 2024.
